| Guy has been a very successful teacher for the past 18 years. He teaches children, teens and adults. Many students copy an image, but that only teaches them how to draw a likeness of the image they are copying, not the true techniques that are needed to create an original image from scratch. Guy prefers not to be a subscriber to the "draw what I draw" class/method. His students learn how to think, how to see and how to understand the world of art. In Guy's private and semi-private sessions he shares his knowledge and works with each student on their individual strengths and weakness. His students learn how to draw on their own, how to interpret what they see in a simplified way, thus allowing them apply their new found knowledge to their art. Guy offers professional instruction in super hero comic book illustration, cartooning, character development, storyboarding, fantasy illustration, anatomy, manga/anime, portrait art, caricatures, abstract art and all types of illustration and painting. Guy has had many of his students continue on to become professionals. Guy currently teaches a limited amount of private and semi-private sessions in Jackson, NJ. He is conveniently located near Six Flags Great Adventure. Guy now has online art instruction available too! References are available. He also teaches group art classes in Freehold, NJ.
