Guy Dorian Sr. is a versatile artist with over 30 years of experience, making significant contributions across comic book art, toy design, and cinematic artistry. He has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Marvel, DC, IDW, JusToys, 20th Century Fox, Marvel Entertainment, and Storm King Productions.
In the realm of comic books, Guy has established himself as a talented penciler, working on notable projects such as ROM for IDW, ROM & The Micronauts, John Carpenter’s Hyperbreed, GI Joe: A Real American Hero, as well as Night Thrasher, The New Warriors, and Marvel Comics Presents.
His skills as an inker are showcased in various Marvel Entertainment products, including magazines, coloring and activity books, video games, wall posters, and merchandise. Additionally, he is recognized as the co-creator of the character Scorch, featured in Marvel comics and the TV series Marvel Agents of Shield.
Recently, Guy collaborated with Larry Hama as both penciler and inker on the exciting crowdfunded series MOUNTIES VS. WEREWOLVES, set to debut in mid-summer 2025!
Guy's contributions extend to cinema and television, where he has worked on movie posters for X-Men: Apocalypse and contributed to character development for the Silver Surfer cartoon series. His artwork was also featured as a poster in Kevin Smith’s cult classic Chasing Amy, showcasing his early success in independent cover art.
As he continues to collaborate with comic book legends and Hollywood producers, Guy is set to unveil new TV series and films based on his original creations.
In toy design, Guy has created iconic toys for wrestling legends such as Bret Hart, Doink the Clown, Randy Savage, Shawn Michaels, and The Undertaker for the original JusToys WWF/WWE “Bend-ems” toy line (1994-1998) as well as toys for The Tick, Hercules, Xena, Youngblood, Pony Trails, Wind in the Willows, and even the Three Stooges. His recent projects include designs for The Major Wrestling Figure Company’s Randy Savage line and trading cards. Recently released was the beloved bendable figure of Macho Man Randy Savage by the Major Figures Podcast Major Bendies company, alongside “The Indy God” Matt Cardona.
Guy has also worked on toy packaging and merchandise for Marvel Entertainment, including recent releases like Marvel's Finger Fighters and Marvel Hot Wheels cars.
Additionally, Guy is the co-owner of BAMCO TOYS, where he and his partner, Thomas Chillemi, have successfully launched their first crowdfunding campaign for the toy and comic book series LOST LANDERS.
